Last month, Rising Realty Partners granted us a tour of The Trust Building, a historic building now in the midst of a full restoration in Downtown Los Angeles.
Completed in 1928 at 433 S. Spring Street, the 11-story structure will offer 320,000 square feet of rentable space atop ground-floor retail upon completion later this year. Originally known as the Title Insurance and Trust Building, it is being redesigned by a team that includes Gensler and Architectural Resources Group to make the vintage property appeal to modern tenants.

Rising Realty Partners has unveiled three-dimensional renderings of the Trust Building, an office restoration project now underway on Spring Street.
Built in 1928, the 11-story, 320,000-square-foot building is located at 433 S. Spring Street. The historic structure, previously slated for adaptive reuse as condominiums, is instead being retrofitted as creative office space with ground-floor commercial space.
An Art Deco Masterpiece Is Coming Back To Life In The Historic Core
Nelson and Christopher Rising, who breathed new life into the low-slung Financial District office complex Park DTLA, and later transformed the One Bunker Hill edifice into the shiny and restored CalEdison, are at it again. Their Rising Realty Partners, in partnership with Lionstone Investments, is expected to complete a renovation of the former Title Insurance Building by mid-year.

The Historic Core continues its zealous surge of redevelopment with the current restoration of The Trust Building on Spring Street. Rising Realty Partners has just released its first renderings of the building’s ambitious makeover, the largest restoration project to take place on Spring. A historic gem of the Old Bank District, the stunning 11-story Art Deco building will be retrofitted with creative offices above ground-floor retail and restaurant space, all while retaining its historic character and architectural integrity. Rising Realty partnered with design and architecture firm Gensler to execute their vision. Its grand re-opening is slated for Summer 2018.
